My interest in photography began almost 30 years ago when my parents gave me my first camera and entrusted me with documenting family outings and vacations. That camera opened my eyes to the diverse beauty and wonders of the world around me.Since then, I have tried to capture and preserve that beauty in my photographs. My hope is that my photos will also convey the peaceful and calming effects of nature’s beauty on the soul….just a pure and simple love and appreciation for all of the outdoors, the environment, and wildlife. However, there is a special place in my heart for the Wolf. I’m intrigued and fascinated by these majestic creatures, and the way they interact with each other. Their faces and eyes are so intense and expressive….and mysterious. I feel very fortunate to have been in the presence of and photographed wolves in captivity. The thrill of my life was when I saw and photographed wolves in the wild at Yellowstone National Park. in 2004. Even though it was from a quite a distance it didn’t diminish the thrill of seeing these wild creatures the way they were meant to be. Another dream came true in 2007 when I finally heard a wild wolf howl in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario Canada.
