Koharchik is dedicated to exploring innovative performance and production techniques, within an interdisciplinary context. He is inspired and excited by art that surprises him, challenges his intellect, and celebrates the mystery and magic of the theatrical form. Thus, his company seeks to stimulate, entertain and enlighten audiences in an extraordinary way. He is also a professional set designer who works frequently with the Indiana Repertory Theatre and regional theaters nationwide. In addition, he teaches theater design at Purdue University.
