My narrative, historical images are expressions inspired from family mementos. I use these keepsakes to blend history, memory, and emotion into an idea and attempt to honor and reveal the past as well as comment on our current times. As an abstract painter, I am focused on exploring line, color, shape, gesture, and design. I work with these elements until they are in balance, relating mood and emotion.
