Sutton was born at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She is now a dance performance artist , certified massage therapist, teacher and model. Her history includes completing her MA in Dance Performance from LABAN, London, UK by being a member of Transitions Dance Co, touring, teaching and performing throughout England followed by a written dissertation titled: Inside-Out: Emotions in Dance Performance. Returning to Indianapolis she founded FoReal Art Co. in 2005 and created works such as “Confusion” 2005, “Feel Something” 2006 and “Simple Joys” 2009 performed as part of Indy Fringe Festivals. Sutton recently returned from three years of traveling predominately on Maui, HI where she studied Lomi Lomi massage, created hand tied feather masks and other string decorations, spun fire, work traded at organic farms and meditated on nature’s healing qualities. She has also traveled through Africa for two months in 2012 connecting with locals, nature, camping and “Simple Living”.
Jennifer K. Sutton is greatful to be nesting in her work /studio space as part of Indy Indie Artist Colony where she is continuing to develop all artist skills. Specifically she creates crane earrings & feather masks, is developing her visual pregnancy series inspired by her 1st pregnancy,baby Enti, due to be delivered the beginning of November 2013, teaching private movement lessons and building her Indianapolis massage therapy practice. She shares love from the heart chakra.
