My interest in photography started in 1980 when I took an evening class using a Mamiya 35mm SLR film camera but only took snapshots, nothing creative.  Then with the advent of digital photography, combined with my full-time retirement freedom, I started pursuing photography as more than just a hobby in 2010.

Combining composition, lighting, and perspective allows you to see images through my lens along with some images that maybe you might have missed.

My range of subject matter is varied:  rustic bridges and barns, flowers and animals, cityscapes and architecture, landscapes, and most recently my oil and water abstracts.  My abstract photos are created by “mixing” oil and water, adding color, then utilizing a digital dark room to achieve the final result.

One of my photos was published in the book Capture Indy, sponsored by the Indianapolis Star.

All three of my Super Bowl photos are hanging in the J W Marriott.  I have participated in a number of art shows and festivals, and have won awards at Crown Hill Heritage Foundation photo contests as well as the Mrion County Fair.  Several of my donated photos have helped raise money for various organizations including the Athenaeum Foundation, Inc.

My work is on display at the Art Bank Art Gallery, 811 Massachusetts Ave, Indianapolis, IN
