Kami Noland is an Indiana native currently residing in Indianapolis.  Her work balances her love of abstraction, representational landscapes, and portraiture.  As an emerging artist, Kami enjoys exploring a variety of themes, techniques and mediums, with oils and acrylics being her main focus.  As a self-taught artist, she relies on workshops, YouTube videos, and local classes to build her skills.  She was heavily involved in the arts during high school, winning school, county and statewide awards.  After high school, she took a nearly 22-year hiatus from creating visual art, aside from the occasional piece for friends and family.  In early 2017, she made the decision to start painting again, and won an Honorable Mention ribbon in the non-professional category at that year’s Indiana State Fair.  Since October 2018, Noland has participated in several group shows and juried exhibitions.  Her abstract work was featured in the fourth season of HGTV’s Good Bones, as well as being selected for the 95th and 98th Annual Hoosier Art Salon exhibitions.
