Full Job Description
The Ideal Candidate we are searching for is a Live Entertainment Technician who will demonstrate proficiency in theater production, live concert events, sound, lighting equipment, stage and production management; digital audio consoles, conventional and LED lighting; technical operations of theater programs; theater sound engineering, stage lighting, projections, theater pre-performance, performance, and post-performance best practices; operation of PC and Mac based computers and knowledge of (but not limited to) MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Keynote, QLab; Further, the ideal candidate should possess a passion for theater production; strong safe technical operations; ability to operate, maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment used in technical production, lighting, sound and set design; ability to evaluate equipment needs; excellent written and verbal communications skills; and strong customer services skills.

Responsibilities include:

Assists with set-up and tear-down of venue, including, but not limited to: Load in, strike, rigging, light hang, cabling, addressing, focus, speaker placement, FOH set-up, etc.
Assists with installation of all technical elements in the park, from shows to special events, on both technical and seating teams. Assignments based on skill, interest and need
Promptly reports to supervisors when supplies and/or hardware are needed or if a tool is becoming unusable or unsafe
Keeps supervisors informed of progress and asks for help when needed
Maintains excellent communication to facilitate the organization’s continuing functionality
Performs the essential job functions safely, successfully, and consistently with the ADA, FMLA, OSHA and other federal, state and local standards, including COVID related health and safety protocol for performing arts venues, hazards and safety practices
Is comfortable working at heights from Genie lifts, ladders and scaffolding
Runs shows, or works installation crews, as assigned
Responsible for maintaining technical elements of entertainment venue during the season
Daily cleaning/sanitizing of equipment and facilities
Other duties as assigned
Reports to:

Production Manager
Requirements:

Must have technical experience with live entertainment events
Must be able to work from technical drawings
Able to provide 2 professional references
Able to arrange dependable transportation
Able to do heavy lifting if required (Approximately 100 lbs)
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time and is physically mobile
Able to be always punctual, stays on schedule, and maintains regular attendance
Able to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
Should pass the background check
Should be 18 years of age or older
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
