Full Job Description
We need a great Assistant House Manager that will work with the House Manager to coordinate Front of House/FOH activities in support of venue operations during an event or production. They must provide excellent customer service in welcoming the public to the venue, as well as overseeing patron safety and well being before, during, and after a show. This position is highly visible and interacts with patrons, sponsors, vendors, and rental clients. They represent the Phoenix, Collectives, and rental clients at performances and events. They maintain a calm, professional demeanor in stressful situations.

Responsibilities include:

First contact to resolve patron issues and complaints.
Completes a walkthrough of venue space to ensure requested set-up is complete and prepared for patrons.
Ensures venue areas are clean and welcoming.
Ensure all COVID-19 policies and procedures are followed.
Ensure accessible seating is available and reserve seating signage in place.
Confirms staffing and coverage of venue and FOH supplies available. Provides event progression, updates, and any special needs to the event.
Coordinates with Concessions, Technical and Box Office for start, intermission and end cues for an event or performance, trouble shooting problems and resolution of event operational/facility issues.
Serve as an emergency team for FOH in the event of building evacuation, shelter in place or building lockdown.
Completes final walk-through of venue to confirm all patrons and FOH activity for event(s) are completed.
Other duties as assigned.

House and Company Manager
Requirements:

Must have Retail/Hospitality/Attraction customer service experience
Must have strong communication and supervisory skills
Must be dedicated to providing optimal customer service, promote all available patron services and resolution of patron complaints
Must be familiar with computers and electronic operations
Must have an interest in the performing arts
Must have knowledge of computers and ticketing software management
Able to maintain a proactive attitude, a mindset of teamwork, and use initiative to complete duties.
Should have a High School Diploma or Associates Degree
Able to do lifting if required (Minimum of 25 lbs.)
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time (at least 4 hours) and is physically mobile
Preferably with previous experience with Audience View Select is a plus
Should be flexible to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays if required
Should pass the background check
Expected Start Date: 17/05/2021

Pay: $12.00 per hour
