Established mural artist and faux finisher is seeking an assistant to help with projects, some studio work and setting up for art fairs.  Duties to include base coat painting, prepping walls for painting, taping, cleaning up the job site, loading and unloading supplies, running errands for supplies as needed, hand-painted lettering, and other artistic work as needed based on skill set.

Applicant must have experience with regular wall painting using a brush and roller, and must possess the ability paint a straight, crisp line and to feel comfortable working with heights. Must be able to lift 30 pounds and work in exterior conditions.  Must have knowledge of working with acrylic / latex paints and the care needed to maintain brushes and other tools in all types of conditions. Must have your own transportation. Bonus points to anyone with faux finishing experience.

This is a contract position on an as needed basis.  If the skill set is high, there will be more work available.  Pay is $20/hour, but negotiable for the right candidate.
