HYGGE – A quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being. Taking pleasure from the presence of gentle, soothing things. Acknowledging a feeling or moment, whether alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary as cozy, charming or special.

Concept entries are due October 31 and artists will be notified of their selection by November 11.

Location: Street level windows, Harrison Center, 1505 N. Delaware Street. They face N Delaware St, 16th Street, and The Harrison Center’s back parking lot.

Selection Criteria: Designs will be selected based upon aesthetic design, visual impact on pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and appropriateness of content (should be appropriate for all audiences). To be considered, entries must incorporate lights. The more the better!

Compensation: Selected artists will receive $100 per window installation. An additional $50 will be paid if the display is completed and approved by Wednesday November, 30, 2022.

Juried:  1st ($500), 2nd ($250), and 3rd ($100) place prizes will be awarded on December First Friday.

Popular Vote: Winner receives $100. Voting takes place at December 2 First Friday 6-9 p.m.
