This show is exclusively for people who identify with any identity in the LGBTQIA2S+ community. This show is to uplift queer artists in the Indianapolis community and connect them to patrons of their art as well as other community members.
Applications Open until March 31st until Midnight.
Metro is hosting an art show on May 28th from 12pm-7pm. Queer artists are invited to apply for this Big Gay Art Show with paintings and other fine art for sale at Metro. 2D and 3D submissions will be considered.
If you are accepted, your art will be displayed from 12-7pm, Sunday May 28th, 2023 only. You must set up your own work between the hours of 10am-12pm the day of, and pick up any unsold paintings at 7pm sharp before karaoke at 8pm.
Indy Gay Market and Metro will distribute information about your pieces and help collect payment for artists during the event. Artist are encouraged to stay with their work but do not have to be onsite the entire show.
Artists can name their own price for all chosen works and take home 100% of the profits if their work is sold during the show.
