Call for Resident Makers
RUCKUS Makerspace, a collaborative co-working space, is looking for creatively driven, diverse makers interested in utilizing space within the facility. The space is home to industrial equipment, co-working tables, offices and much more to coincide with a variety of creative mediums. The goal of RUCKUS is to empower those interested in creating, building a business, community development and helping to move forward a maker revolution in Indy. They are looking for resident makers who need space and equipment to create/sustain their own product/business and also work alongside fellow makers. Makers will not be bound to any product line specific for RUCKUS and will have creative freedom with no commission fees. A monthly usage fee will be determined based on the amount of space and access needed. RUCKUS is in the beginning stages of development which offers an opportunity for makers, artisans and those seeking a creative work environment to help pioneer the process and contribute to evolution of the space. A small cohort of resident makers will be selected during this initial development and launch phase in fall 2016. Resident makers will be encouraged to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in the space and expected to contribute to the development of the space. A broad call for general makerspace members will be announced in late 2016 which is more suited for individuals who are only interested in limited use of the space.

RUCKUS is located in the Circle City Industrial Complex at 1125 Brookside Avenue.
