Paul Paletti
Photography: Its History and Value
Tuesday, October 4 – 6:30 p.m.

Riley Meeting Room Central
Library, 40 E St Clair St, Indianapolis, IN

Paul Paletti is a serious historian and collector of photography possessing one of the premier private collections in the Midwest. In addition to historic images, The Paul Paletti Gallery in Louisville, KY hosts many of today’s well-known photographers. Paul will bring several examples from his gallery to highlight his presentation. Paul received a BFA and MFA in photography from the University of New Mexico and Central Washington University when he studied under Beaumont Newhall, a major figure in the study of the history of photography.

See paulpalettigallery.com for more information about past exhibits, about Paul, his collection, and the gallery’s mission, “to educate the public about photography as a sophisticated art medium that is varied, beautiful, and highly collectible.”

This event is free and open to the public. It is part of the ongoing educational mission of the Riviera Camera Club (http://www.rivieracameraclub.org) that meets bi-monthly at the Indianapolis Central Library. The underground parking entrance is on Pennsylvania St.
