The City of Oklahoma City announces this call for professional artists to submit their work to be considered for a landmark to help identify the new Municipal Court building in downtown Oklahoma City’s Arts District. The Municipal Court building is located on the west end of downtown Oklahoma City, where visitors come to see the distinguished Oklahoma City Civic Complex and amenities. The art work will help to establish a unique landmark for those who visit and frequent the building.

The exterior art work sought through this announcement is a large-scale vertical work to serve as a corner element and site identification for the new Municipal Court building. The art work should address the judicial system with a theme of justice, order, and the well-being of the community of Oklahoma City.

Materials must withstand outdoor weather and vandalism. Materials may include, but are not limited to bronze, steel, marble, ceramic, stone and mixed media works.

Good design and exceptional quality is the ultimate goal for the project.
