Title: Assistant Artistic Director – Lyric Choir

Time: Wednesday rehearsals from 4 – 6 p.m.

Commitment: Other times as needed

Compensation: $150/ month for 10 months (August – May)

Accountability: Assistant Director is supervised by the Artistic Director

Responsibilities:

• Teach the Lyric Choir basic singing skills
• Direct Lyric Choir rehearsals and performances
• Assist with combined rehearsals as needed.
• Set up room prior to rehearsal
• Develop camaraderie among Lyric Choir singers
• Communicate with the Artistic Director any needs or concerns regarding the Lyric Choir
• Communicate with the Administrative Assistant on issues relating to attendance or music/folders
• Supervise the Lyric Choir for safety and behavioral concerns at all rehearsals and performances
