Have you heard about the Teen Art Council at the Indianapolis Art Center? They’re currently accepting new TAC members!

TAC is a free program for motivated, energetic, high-school-age youth who want to participate in visual art outside of the classroom and engage in the larger arts community in Indianapolis. Members work with peers, professional artists and Indianapolis Art Center staff to develop and deliver art projects and programs that engage teen audiences. Projects may include planning and executing teen-centric events at the Art Center or creating, curating and installing art exhibits.

TAC members are starting to plan their annual Teen Night and they’d love to welcome new members now to help make this event a success, the theme is Surreal Prom and the event will be here at the Indianapolis Art Center on May 5th. Upcoming meeting dates (6-8pm in the library in the Indianapolis Art Center): April 3, April 17, May 1, and May 15th- with the event on May 5th.
