Downsize Me
An Exhibit and Sale Featuring Art, Antiques, and Collectibles
Mill Race Center is pleased to present Downsize Me, an exhibit featuring 24 vendors who will display and offer for sale art, fine crafts, antiques, and collectibles. The event will be held at the center on Saturday, July 29th from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., EDT.
Eligibility: All seniors who are at least 50 years of age are invited to apply, and just 24 spaces will be available for displaying items. Only art, fine crafts, collectibles, antiques, and items considered to be classic and/or vintage are eligible to be exhibited at the event. It is acceptable for seniors to share a booth.
Materials to Accompany Application: You must submit at least three digital photos that are representative of the items you plan to display in your booth. Send them online to jen@millracecenter.org, or deliver them on a disk to the Mill Race Center office. Please include your name and identify each item submitted. If you wish to have disks returned, you must enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your application.
Booth Space: Mill Race Center will furnish one table and two chairs. Backdrops to display your hanging items will not be available, so if you require one, you must provide it yourself. Each booth space is approximately 8′ x 10′.
Additional Rules of Participation: As stated above, you may display only art, fine crafts, antiques, collectibles, and classic or vintage items. This is not a flea market or a typical garage sale, so please bring only items that fit the exhibit’s criteria. Participants whose items are accepted give permission to the Downsize Me committee to use photos of their items for publicity and advertising purposes.

Applications must be received no later than June 15th and you will be notified by e-mail or phone regarding your entry status by June 30th.
Booth fees: If accepted, Mill Race members will pay a $35 booth space rental fee, and nonmembers must pay $50. The fee is due by July 7th. Please make your check payable to Mill Race Center, and note Downsize Me in the memo section. Payment is a commitment to exhibit, and there will be no refunds.

Downsize Me will be held on Saturday, July 29th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time. Your application and signature indicate that you agree to participate during this time and to abide by the conditions as previously stated.
Furthermore, you understand that the Mill Race Center, its employees, and other sponsors take no responsibility for your personal liability or for loss or damage to your property while setting up, storing, exhibiting, or taking down the show. For your personal protection, they recommend you purchase liability insurance.
