CALL FOR ENTRIES – 2018 ART FOR AWHILE SCULPTURE PROGRAM

Public Art Committee seeks artists to participate in the 2018 Art for Awhile Sculpture Program.

• $1,000 honorarium for each sculpture selected for display. Expenses beyond the honorarium must be covered by the artist.
• Artists selected agree to loan their outdoor sculpture from March 2018 to March 2019.
• Application is due by midnight on July 5, 2017. The application is available at https://www.callforentry.org.
• A $1,000 cash award is given to the artist voted by the Broomfield community to be “Broomfield’s Choice.”
• Seven Works of Art – A total of seven outdoor sculptures will be selected.
• Three Locations – Artwork will be selected for each of three landmark locations within the City and County of Broomfield.
• Artists will be notified in late August or early September.

The 2018 Art for Awhile Sculpture Project will continue the success of the program, strengthening community identity and enhancing that “sense of place” and community pride for people who live and work in the City and County of Broomfield.
