Synopsis:
This hysterical play is the sequel to last season’s hilarious play, “The Sensuous Senator.” Yes, he’s back! Senator Harry Douglas didn’t win the Presidential election (too bad!) due to some “morality” issues, but he returns having been appointed the American Ambassador to Great Britain. While usually housed at the American Embassy, the Douglas’s are spending the weekend at their country home. When Harry tells his family he is going to Scotland to play golf, his wife Lois and daughter Debbie announce weekend plans of their own. Lois will be at a spa and Debbie wants to visit a girlfriend. Their newly hired butler, Perkins, watches stoically as each leaves and secretly returns for a romantic rendezvous in the “empty” house. While Harry, a sexy neighbor, Debbie and her boyfriend strive to remain undiscovered, Harry’s secretary and Captain South of the Marine Corps Embassy Security arrive in the wake of a bomb threat. The Embassy is sealed off with hilarious results. The accident-prone secretary spreads chaos and Captain South is repeatedly rendered unconscious in the search for the mad bomber. Even the imperturbable Perkins is drawn into sexual shenanigans when Lois returns for her own assignation.

Characters:
Harry Douglas: A former U.S. Senator, now the US Ambassador to Great Britain. A philanderer and woman chaser, he usually manages to smooth talk his way out of compromising situations. Suave, elegant, good looking. Age 45-65 (This role has been cast)
Perkins: The quintessential butler. A pivotal character around whom most of the circumstantial humor seems to occur. He remains “oh so British,” never cracks a smile and always seems to be in control. Age 50+ (This role has been cast)
Joe: Joe’s great misfortune in life is that his girlfriend (Debbie) is the Ambassador’s daughter. He is caught up in a whirlwind of events, and never seems to understand how he has got into such a mess. He spends a good portion of the play in a dress and wig, pretending to be Debbie’s girlfriend, Josephine, fighting off the advances of “The Amorous Ambassador.” Age 20-30
Captain South: The Marine Corps officer in charge of Embassy security. He is a total incompetent, who spends his time searching for a non-existent “mad bomber,” when he is not being knocked out, hit by doors, etc. Age 25-45
Debbie: The Ambassador’s daughter, a bright, attractive young lady, whose quick thinking keeps her one step ahead of her father, as she manipulates all those around her. Age 20-25
Marian: The Ambassador’s girlfriend from next door, is beautiful, glamorous and sexy. Her costumes range from a cocktail dress and a French maid’s outfit to lingerie. Age 25-40
Faye: The Ambassador’s secretary, is not too bright. In fact, when Harry suggests she hold a séance to see if she can make contact with her brain, its probably a good idea. She breaks things, she drops things, she is a living, breathing, walking disaster area. Age 25-40
Lois: Harry’s long suffering wife who manages to turn the tables on him, in the final unexpected denouement. Age 40+ (This role has been cast)
