The Cumberland Arts Festival on August 18, 2018 has an exciting special feature to celebrate their tenth annual arts and crafts festival.

They are honoring the historic Town of Cumberland and celebrating our tenth anniversary year with a “Ten Worthy Places” Plein Air Competition. Artists will paint on site at the selected “Ten Worthy Places” from June 16 through August 10, 2018.  Finished works will be displayed and put on sale at Cumberland Arts Festival, Aug. 18, 2018.  The awards ceremony will be at 1 p.m.

Cumberland Arts Festival is held along Saturn Street with 100 arts and crafts vendors, farmers market, and live entertainment.  Cumberland Arts, Inc. is soliciting artists to paint 10 places of interest in the historic town on the eastern edge of Indianapolis, culminating in an adjudicated art show on event day, Saturday August 18, with prize money, publicity, and the opportunity to show and sell works of art.
