Casting Call

French Lick Scenic Railway announces auditions for THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride a live, interactive event based on the film by Warner Bros.

Seeking: Actors to play various roles. All roles are paid acting positions.

Date and Time: Auditions are by appointment or during open auditions on August 8th, 4-8pm at the French Lick Depot, 8594 W. St. Rd. 56, French Lick, IN 47432

Character Breakdown: (improv skills for each performer a plus)
Conductor: Male, 18+, personable, mature, responsible
Hobo: 25-50, charming, outgoing, personable
Hero Boy: Male, 10-14, sincere, ability to interact with others, no taller than 5’
Santa Claus: Male 45+, warm, sincere, full of real joy, (beard not necessary)

Commitment Dates:
Rehearsals 10/28, 10/31, 11/1 (additional rehearsal dates may be required for Hero Boy and Hobo)
Performance Dates: (2 shows per night, Call 4:30pm, End of Day 9:15pm)
11/2, 11/3, 11/4, 11/9, 11/10, 11/11, 11/16, 11/17, 11/18,
11/23, 11/24, 11/25, 11/30, 12/1, 12/2, 12/7, 12/8, 12/9,
12/14, 12/15, 12/16, 12/20, 12/21, 12/22, 12/23

Actors will not do every performance listed above, however we are seeking actors with availability of entire schedule.
