Carmel Community Players announces open auditions for the modern musical
I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE

Audition dates are Monday, November 5 and Tuesday, November 6 from 7 to 9 pm at the CAT in Carmel, 254 Veteran’s Way, Carmel, Indiana 46032.

Carmel Community Players is proud to offer this unique show with production staff: Charlie Hanover, Producer, Dee Timi, Director and Musical Director Sandy Baetzhold, who is just off the successful run of Forever Plaid, the CCP opening show for their 25th season.

I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is presented in a series of musical vignettes connected by the central theme of love and relationships. The play’s tagline is “Everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit.”

The show will be produced with a cast of 4 – 2 men, 2 women as it was preformed for over 5000 shows off-Broadway. Specific age range is between 25 & 45 years old, vocal range are part specific for one soprano, one alto, one tenor, one baritone.

Carmel Community Players is an all-volunteer community theatre looking for non-union performers willing to give it everything they got for an amazing show doing a 3 week run February 20 thru March 10, 2019. Performances will be held at the Cat Theatre in Carmel, a 120 seat house.

Please bring a prepared song, any style. CD Player or cell phones are OK to sing to, piano available for your personal accompanist. This is a modern musical and you may be asked to sight read a song for the show with our musical director.

The show will be cast by November 10. Rehearsals will be ‘light’ through Nov/Dec Holiday period and steady from Jan 2 through run of show.

You will need to fill out the CCP Audition info sheet but bringing your theatre resume of experience and recent head shot is appreciated.
