Videographer

​The Videographer is responsible for capturing and editing high quality footage on-location and within a studio environment. They will properly light subjects and obtain high quality audio during taping sessions. The Videographer will participate in pre-production meetings to establish shots, required b-roll, and assist in the creation of the production storyboard/script. This role is responsible for contributing creative vision and bringing captured clips to a polished final production. Regular overnight travel is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with director and subject matter experts to visually guide shot lists, storyboards and scripts
Lead the capture of high-quality video and audio during multi-camera shoots
Lead lighting for video and photography-based productions in studio and on remote location
Frame shots in creative and stimulating ways to enhance productions
Edit captured clips following the story created in the pre-production documents
Provide guidance to other team members and participate in critiques of work
Execute multiple complex projects concurrently, creating project plans and delivering results
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge

Associate’s degree in Graphic Media/Visual Communication Art, or a related field of study is required. Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience is a plus.
A portfolio of candidate-authored resource samples is required for consideration
Skills and Abilities

Advanced experience with still and video cameras, especially Sony and Canon equipment
Advanced experience with video production, lighting and editing
Video live stream experience is a plus
Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-oriented
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to take initiative and work proactively
Ability to work independently, resourcefully seek answers, and remove obstacles
Results oriented with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
