Grants for Performing Artists/Ensembles Traveling Abroad

Grants for Performing Artists/Ensembles Traveling Abroad

 Indianapolis, IN, Unknown

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation has a grant program for performing artists/ensembles in the United States and its territories called USArtists International. The program helps fund U.S. artists to travel abroad and perform at significant cultural festivals and performing arts marketplaces abroad, professionally developing U.S. artists and creating international cultural exchange opportunities.

USArtists International supports performances by U.S. dance, music, and theater ensembles and solo artists invited to perform at important cultural festivals and performing arts marketplaces anywhere in the world outside the United States and its territories. The next deadline is April 3, 2019 at 11:59 PM ET for engagements between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. To learn more about the program, see additional deadlines or access the online application, please visit their website.

USAI is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Howard Gilman Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, and the Trust for Mutual Understanding and is the only program of its size and scope in the country.

We would greatly appreciate your help getting the word out about the program. Please let me know if we can return the favor, sharing information about an artist opportunity in our newsletters or via social media. You can tweet us @MidAtlanticArts or https://www.facebook.com/MidAtlanticArts/
