Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity this summer?  Art with a Heart have several possibilities listed below.  If interested in any of these, Art with a Heart will send you more details about training and completing a background check.  Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and entering 9th grade.

Kindergarten through 8th grade AWAH Summer Camp Programs provide access to visual art experiences that also support the development of essential academic and life skills. Weekly art lessons focused on the art element of “form” will be taught by a lead teacher to groups of children with assistance from volunteers. Various locations and times running throughout June and July.

Week Long Volunteer Opportunities for Summer 2019

• St. Florian Center located at 545 East 19th Street on 6/24, 6/25, 6/26, 6/27, 6/28 from 9:30am – 2:15pm. Required training by appointment. (2 more volunteers needed so tell a friend!)

Weekly Volunteer Opportunities for Summer 2019

• Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center located at 1920 W. Morris Street on Tuesdays 6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, and 7/23 from 9:15am – 3:30pm.  Art Show on 7/26 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm (Set up at 4:30pm).  Required training by appointment. (3 volunteers needed so tell a friend!)
• Westminster Neighborhood Services located at 445 N. State Avenue on Tuesdays 6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 723 from 8:00am – 11:00am.  Required training by appointment. (1 volunteer needed)
