Do you have passion for using your creative practice to impact the community? Arts for Learning Indiana is actively seeking a bookbinding artists to join their roster of  Teaching Artists!

Arts for Learning Indiana engages students state-wide with arts integrated programming. Their teaching artists deliver workshops, performances, and residencies that use their artforms to intuitively teach children of all ages principles of math, science, literacy, social studies, and social emotional learning.

Eligibility:

  • Experience working with children is a plus!
  • A desire to use your art to teach
  • Pass a limited criminal history background check
  • Must have flexible availability during regular school hours and/or after school
  • Work with staff to create arts integrated programming
  • Bilingual candidates will be given extra consideration

Project Time Frame: This is a contracted position for the 2020-2021 school year, with the option to renew yearly thereafter.

Compensation: Per workshop rate is between $50 – $68 depending on the type of event. A stipend for supplies is provided.
