This position will manage the Ceramics Studio as well as a team of instructors teaching in the Ceramics Department. The Studio Chair will also be expected to teach and perform administrative duties. Applicants should have extensive knowledge and experience in management/leadership, and teaching. Experience maintaining and managing a public ceramics studio is preferred. WThey are looking for a team player who is passionate for the craft of ceramics, is a self-starter, and is willing to learn, grow, and contribute to the Education Team.

Job Summary:
In conjunction with the Associate Director of Education, the Studio Chair manages operations of onsite educational programs for students 18 and older in a particular medium or area of study. This position is responsible for the supervision of faculty, programming, teaching, and oversees the operations of the physical studio space and related functions.
