Listen To Your Mother Indy Auditions 2020

The performance will be on Saturday, May 9, 2020. The mission of the LTYM show is to give voice to motherhood- the good, the bad, the ugly, the hilarious, and the scary in the form of original, true stories, read out loud, live on stage by their authors.

They want moms, step-moms, moms with fur-babies, daughters, mentors, mother figures, birth moms, adoptive and foster moms, moms of children with special needs or illness, someone who always wanted to be a mom or never wanted to be a mom, new mothers, or empty nesters.  Husbands, fathers, sons, brothers are welcome to tell stories about the significant women in their lives.

They want you to audition with your original story, spoken word, poem, stand-up comedy, and song.  They welcome people of all races, religions, sexual orientations and identifications as well as those with little to no public speaking experience.

Auditions will be conducted Saturday, February 22nd, Sunday, February 23rd and Monday, February 24th. Please limit your audition piece to 3-5 minutes or 7 minutes for shared acts to be read aloud.  Bring three copies of your piece (one for you and two for them). Reserve your time slot at the website linked below.

By signing up to audition, you agree to the following should you be chosen for the show:

1) You are available on these dates:

Sunday, March 15, 12-6 pm – Rehearsal & Photo Shoot
Sunday, April 5, 2-5pm – Rehearsal
Saturday, May 9, 1-9 pm – Show Day!

2) They may want to edit your work in order to fit you into the show comprised of 12-15 cast members.
