Art of Business Series

 Noblesville, IN, Unknown

If only succeeding as an artist were as simple as putting paint to canvas! Financial success for artists also requires ability to embrace numbers, revel in tax regulations, and master marketing.

Nickel Plate Arts has brought together partners from across the county to provide resources that support artists’ professional development, including the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, Conner Prairie, the Da Vinci Pursuit, and the Fishers Arts Council.

Nickel Plate Arts Members can receive discounts and priority registration for many of these opportunities!

ARTIST SWAP: A PROJECT OF THE INDIANA CULTURAL DISTRICT CONSORTIUM
Indiana is home to 10 Cultural Arts Districts, where creativity and artists thrive. In 2020, the Cultural Districts are working together to share talent around the state by ‘swapping’ artists – a professional artist will travel from their home District to a different District around the state to teach a class or workshop.

These will be the top teachers from each district, so each class will be an amazing opportunity to develop artistic skills while learning from a real pro!

Artists who would like to be considered for this teaching opportunity should contact Aili at amcgill@nickelplatearts.org. Priority will be given to Artists who have a $50-or-higher paid membership to Nickel Plate Arts.
