Girls Rock! Indianapolis summer camp is a little different this year. They will be 100% virtual. They have a need for musically inclined folks to fill a couple of their positions. They are looking for womxn, girls, trans or gender expansive folks. They are giving priority to applicants from the BI&POC community.. Here is a little more information:

1. They still need a few band “producers”. Candidates must have some knowledge of songwriting, and be comfortable using a Digital Audio Workstation (we are using a browser based platform called Soundtrap). You will be working with a group of three or four kids to help them collaborate on creating a song using pre-recorded loops, digitally created sounds, and/or recorded instruments. They will provide training. You will need to be available the afternoons of either the week of July 13th or July 20th (or both) from 1 – 3 pm each day (Mon – Fri). It will all be virtual and you will communicate with your band of 3 or 4 kids via Zoom. The stipend for this position is $200 per week. Learn more HERE.

2. They also still need a handful of lunch performers. They would like a 20 minute set (via our Zoom) starting at 12:30 on one of the camp days, followed by a Q&A, and aiming to be done by 1pm. They can pay $50 per performer (up to $200 max for a band). They would like to ask for your consent to share a video of the set (not the Q&A) on their social media channel.
