LEAD (Local Entrepreneur & Artist Direct) Support Fund Offers $500 Emergency Grants

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kheprw Institute has launched the LEAD (Local Entrepreneur & Artist Direct) Support Fund to help local entrepreneurs and artists deal with the loss of income by providing $500 emergency grants via a random lottery selection. Many have been hit hard financially due to the shut down of local businesses, restaurants, social distancing and the agreed upon practice to work from home. Kheprw wants to help by providing some assistance.  This fund is supported by a grant from the Central Indiana Covid-19 Community Economic Relief Fund.

The Central Indiana COVID-19 Community Economic Relief Fund (C-CERF) is a community fund established by founding partners Lilly Endowment Inc., Central Indiana Community Foundation, Eli Lilly and Company Foundation, Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation and United Way of Central Indiana to support human services organizations and the individuals and families they serve who are affected directly and indirectly by the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis.

Grants are awarded by a weekly lottery as funds become available in $500 increments.

The LEAD Support Grant assist low-income artists/entrepreneurs in Indianapolis that fall between the following income brackets. Household Income for 1 person: $25,000; Household Income for 4 people: $60,000.
One entry per person. Duplicate submissions will be removed. Your name will remain in the lottery until you win. Winners will be removed from the lottery.

This fund is ONLY FOR RESIDENTS OF INDIANAPOLIS/MARION COUNTY. Applicants living outside of Indianapolis will not be selected.
