About Lawyers for the Arts
Recent events arising from the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in challenges to Indiana artists and arts organizations. Galleries are having trouble paying their rent. Artists have questions about unemployment eligibility. Arts organizations are concerned about liability issues should they re-open and how to access pandemic relief funds. Pro Bono Indiana’s Lawyers for the Arts project is designed to provide legal resources to answer these and other legal issues. Artists and small arts organizations with limited funds may qualify for pro bono legal assistance. Others with greater resources can be referred to attorneys with the expertise to assist with their concerns. To see if you qualify and to obtain help, please call the number below:
