The Indianapolis City Market is open! With plans to infuse public art into the space, we are excited to offer an opportunity for local artists to add a unique layer to this experience in Downtown Indy!

BUDGET:  $700 stipend (16 artists selected)

ELIGIBILITY: Artists (self-defined) age 18 or older

DEADLINE: 10/16/2020

We’re planning to install a street art trail along concrete barricades and we need YOU! The designated space is very visible from the street, sidewalks, adjacent buildings and community gathering spaces.

Public Street Art Trail Guidelines

• The concept must be based on the theme: “Reclaiming The Space”
• The concept must be positive and inspiring
• Must not include political messages or nudity
• Artists must be able to complete the installation within 2 days, October 31-November 1

What to Provide

1. 5 images of your work – PDF format
2. A statement of 500 words or less: How does art bring peopletogether?
3. OPTIONAL: A proposed concept for the project
