Our vision is that all children, regardless of background, have the opportunity to improve their quality of life through artistic expression.

Art With a Heart’s mission is to provide hands-on visual arts experiences that educate and inspire children. Our programs uniquely reinforce academics within the artistic experience and strive to instill confidence in our kids, benefiting them in both school and life.

Art With a Heart offers a variety of art programs. Throughout the school year, we offer weekly after school programs, school-year programs within early childhood classrooms, and Saturday Studio classes for students who’ve previously exhibited a passion or natural talent for art.  During the summer months, we partner with area summer camps to engage their students with visual art.  Exhibitions are held at the conclusion of each program to celebrate successes and engage the community & parents with student masterpieces.

Saturday Studio

Program description

Art With a Heart takes pride in encouraging all students in their artistic abilities & interests. For students who exhibit a natural talent or passion for art, we offer a weekly Studio Program on Saturdays at the AWaH studio. Students will work in a choice-based environment where they are treated like professional artists and in all classes will have the opportunity to work with a variety of art materials and mediums (drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, etc.). Students will be exposed to the themes of many artists and art movements throughout history, as well as to current artists at the height of their craft.  At the end of each session, students will host a collective art show to demonstrate all of the work they have accomplished throughout the 10 weeks.

Fees / Ticketing:

Our Saturday Studio is based on a sliding scale fee. Cost per Household: 

  • Below $24,999 – $30 per session
  • $25,000-$36,999 – $60 per session
  • $37,000-$59,999 – $110 per session
  • $60,000-$74,999 – $160 per session
  • Over $75,000 – $250 per session
