Cloud Vibrations is a multi-sensory outdoor art exhibit at Re:Public artspace designed by Artists Sofiya Inger & Dianna Davis using artwork and sound recordings from students at Thomas Gregg School.
In partnership with Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School, Arts for Learning Indiana is excited to present “Cloud Vibrations” a multi-sensory outdoor art exhibit at Re:Public, a Near Eastside Community Artspace! On display December 19 – January 23, this collaborative art installation designed by Visual Artist Sofiya Inger and Musician Dianna Davis, combines student artwork and sound recordings to create “vibrations” to build community and positive thoughts. Through the merging of real and virtual communication techniques, the artists have composed a unique experience that captures the imaginative elements of clouds and vibrations.
When Cloud Vibrations visitors approach the Re:Public building to view the collection of student artwork through the artspace windows, a motion sensor will activate audio/video recordings from over 200 students singing an individual music note on a video screen.
Cloud Vibrations is free and open to the public now through January 23, 2021 at Re:Public, Near Eastside Community Artspace, on 2301 E 10th Street!
