The Standards of Jazz
The Hosts will discuss tunes that have become “jazz standards” – the popular songs, show tunes and other compositions that have appeared and reappeared throughout the history of jazz. They will explore compositional techniques, chord progressions and other features that have heightened the appeal to jazz musicians and listeners alike.
