KVML in collaboration with Tea’s Me Indy is proud to offer you a safe and fun tea-tasting experience in the comfort of your home with our signature tea, “Breakfast Tea of Champions,” along with two other teas for your tasting pleasure. Our signature tea, “Breakfast Tea of Champions,” takes its name from Kurt’s bestselling novel and includes one of his favorite ingredients: bananas. In his bestselling masterpiece Slaughterhouse Five, he wrote, “I could carve a better man out of a banana.” We hope you enjoy the tropical notes of this tea.
Admission for this virtual event includes tea samples delivered to your door and a virtual experience on Zoom. This unique experience will be led by Joi Frantz, Tea Sommelier from Tea’s Me Indy, as she shows us the “proper” way to brew the perfect cup of tea and provides information about tea that may surprise you.
Joi DeFrantz has been with Tea’s Me from the beginning and serves as Tea’s Me Cafe’s General Manager. Joi loved the café as a customer due to the classy, jazzy, artistic vibe and wanted to work in a great environment. With a background in chemistry, she has been nicknamed the “Tea Chemist”. She received bachelor degrees in Chemistry and Spanish from Xavier University of Louisiana.
