Meghan Cristeen Martin & the 1900
Originally known for performing solo on ukulele, singer-songwriter Meghan Cristeen Martin has drawn comparisons to classic country stars of decades past. She now leads a trio featuring Brent Schlemmer on bass and Morgan Evans on drums for a more guitar-driven sound they call “garage country.” Their four-track EP The Garage Country Demos – Martin’s third collection of original music – was recorded in a single evening at a friend’s garage studio in Logansport.
