The Ying Quartet, a perennial favorite of Indianapolis audiences, will perform two Beethoven quartets for our May Music Festival finale. Don’t miss it!
Live in person, live stream and one week on demand viewing choices available.
The Ying Quartet has earned a position of unique prominence in the classical music world, combining brilliantly communicative performances with a fearlessly imaginative view of chamber music in today’s world. Now in its third decade, the Quartet has established itself as an ensemble of the highest musical qualifications.
The Yings have been a favorite of our audiences for many years. This season’s appearance is special because it will be Indianapolis native Robin Scott’s first appearance here since he joined the quartet as first violin in 2015.
The program is Quartet in C Major Op. 59 No. 3 and Quartet in C-sharp Minor Op. 131.
