Gather your friends and family and bring along your picnic basket for another season of Sunday outdoor jazz concerts at The Play Ground at IndyFringe.
The season continues with the Jeff Conrad led Avenue Indy Jazz Quintet. The band plays many of Jeff’s original arrangements bringing fresh licks to familiar tunes ranging from the Great American Songbook, jazz standards, and popular tunes from many decades.
“They can sound like a big swing band, reconfigure into a trio or quartet, and deliver a symphonic moment. What they don’t do is spin off into extended solos or take the long road home to the initial melody having gotten off at the wrong freeway exit.” ~Rita Kohn, NUVO.
Tickets are a flat rate of $25. They are currently available at www.indyfringe.org
If the event does not sell out, tickets may be available at the door.
