This new, two-month long exhibition at Gallery 924 will present the works of four Indianapolis-based contemporary visual artists who each received the DeHaan Artist of Distinction Award to pursue aspirational projects that pushed their careers in dynamic new ways. This year’s exhibition features artworks by painter Mason Archie, photographer Eric Lubrick, multidisciplinary artist Samuel Levi Jones, and papel picado inspired artist Beatriz Vazquez.

Beginning in 2017, the Arts Council partnered with the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation (CDFF) to create the annual DeHaan Artist of Distinction Award to promote, celebrate, recognize, and reward excellence by supporting aspirational and innovative projects by contemporary, professional visual artists in central Indiana.
