A celebration of one of the most potent, exciting combinations in all of music — the “king of instruments” paired with the expressive power and range of the human voice.
Featuring guest artist Kim Kenny, the program includes favorites by Gabriel Fauré, Charles-Marie Widor, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and highlights Black composers David Hurd and Francis Smith Thomas (a close friend of and composer for Coretta Scott King).
Oh, and there may be a seasonal surprise in the mix too, just for fun!
