Sarah Grain & the Billions of Stars show their musical colors with their finely textured sound, thoughtful instrumentation, rich vocals, and well-crafted lyrics.  Their musical style ranges from folk and Americana, to jazz and bossa nova.  Moving easily between upbeat joyful sounds to make your heart go dancing, to soulful introspection of the beauty of life, their music moves you.
The band plays regularly at the Chatterbox Jazz Club since early 2014;  beyond that, they have played the Hi Fi, Union 50, Carriage House Concerts at the Propylaeum, the Harrison Center for the Arts and Grove Haus, among others.  They have also taken part in Tonic Ball, the Virginia Avenue Folk Fest, The Indy Folk Fest, Feast of Lanterns, Indy Parks’ Summer Concert Series , the Earth Day Indiana Festival, and were honored to be featured on WFYI’s Small Studio Sessions.
