Join John Corbett and Jim Dempsey, guest curators of Private Eye: The Imagist Impulse in Chicago Art, for an evening of conversation featuring three artists in the exhibition: printmaker, painter, and sculptor Richard Wetzel, member of the Nonplussed Some and owner of Sedgwick Street Gallery; painter Philip Hanson, member of the False Image exhibition group; and painter Rebecca Shore, a generation younger than the original Chicago Imagists. The conversation will be preceded by a screening of Suzanne Simpson’s short film “Karl Wirsum”.
