Known as Indiana’s premier art and food experience, the Indiana Artisan Marketplace lets you meet artists, see their exceptional work, watch them create, taste their foods, sample their wines and buy the best in Hoosier craftsmanship.
After a two-year COVID hibernation, the Indiana Artisan Marketplace will welcome spring with its return to Indianapolis. The 10th anniversary Marketplace will be April 2-3 in the Agriculture Horticulture Building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th St. About 80 artisans from across Indiana are expected to showcase their original art and offer tastes of their small-batch food and wine. The weekend goal is to connect the creator of the artwork and producer of the food with those who are eager to find high-quality, locally handcrafted work.
Indiana Artisans include artists – painters, woodworkers, jewelry designers, weavers — and artisans – beekeepers, makers of specialty sauces, chocolatiers and more. An Indiana Artisan is a Hoosier recognized for careful attention to detail, knowledge of their craft and an entrepreneurial spirit. Their talent contributes to Indiana’s reputation for quality work.
Tickets available in advance on Eventbrite, at select galleries and stores around the state and at the door. $10 for one, $18 for two, $24 for three, $28 for four, $30 for five to eight. Guests 14 and younger, free.
