Walk The Talk: Talks on Inclusion

Walk The Talk: Talks on Inclusion

Presented by Butler Arts Center at Shelton Auditorium

Walk The Talk Speaker Series presents our 20th Talk on the Topic of Inclusion.  6 speakers will share their individual stories on how Inclusion has affected them.  We’ll include live music, an interactive emcee, confetti, a ‘motivational’ balloon drop, and lots of ah-hah moments!  Our talks are not to be missed.

Inclusion is a hot topic of discussion right now.  The process of including all people and groups into activities, and different organizations, be it local groups or national government, is highly debated.  It affects so many people, including yourself.  We each have a story to share regarding how inclusion has shown up in our lives, whether its with your friends or peers, or with people of different physical, ethnic, or personal backgrounds.  Our 6 speakers will share their stories and hope to give direction to understanding Inclusion.  These talks are not to be missed.

Our six speakers will share a variety of their personal stories related to inclusion.  The lineup of speakers includes:

Andrew Peterson, Gold & Silver Medal Special Olympian
Chandra Cortez, Self-Love Coach & Motivational Speaker
Pastor Kelly Spencer, Ordained Queer Pastor & Aspiring Difference Maker
Fred Fransen, Ph.D., Co-founder/CEO of Certell, Inc., an Educational Non-profit
Dimple Shah, Purpose-driven Optimistic Go-getter
George Middleton, Mental health Counselor, Author & Musician

Along with these great stories we’ll include our short WTT Teen video, a quick meditation with Reiki Master Lavia Graham, live music from our WTT Band, our fun and interactive emcee Stephanie Bowie, confetti, a ‘motivational’ balloon drop, and lots of ah-hah moments!
