The first performance in the series is the Cassius Goens Group on Wednesday, June 1.

Doors open at 6:00 pm, the concert begins at 6:30, and the museum is open until 8:00.

Cassius Goens is a dynamic jazz drummer as well as instructor of music at Ball State University. Goens is a highly sought-after musician who has been part of numerous ensembles performing in Indianapolis and throughout the Midwest, as well as with his own quintet, Groove Theory.

Future concerts in the Summer Sounds series will take place July 6 and August 3.
