-“Deconstruct, Reconstruct” by Eric Lubrick in the Harrison Gallery. This series of still-life photographs is characterized by florals and a punchy retro color and feel. The artist explores the deconstruction and reconstruction of the flower and these perceived “beautiful” objects. The flower petals function as both the subject matter and as a medium.

-“The Fallow Ground” by Eliza Mowery in the City Gallery. This collection of paintings is created from photographs of local parks, streets, and other memorable places for the artist. They are inspired by seasons of life that feel empty, messy, uncertain, and, at the same time, somehow regenerative.

-“New Horizons” by Joy Hernandez in the Gallery Annex. The aerosol and acrylic paintings in this body of work are a cosmic adventure and space voyage of escapism with Bean the Astronaut, told canvas by canvas.

-“The Abstract”, a group exhibit by We are Indy Arts in the Speck Gallery. This exhibit features various visual compositions full of color, shape, form, and cultural symbolism for all to experience.

-“Reimagining the Quotidian” by Charles Yang and Lesley Ackman in the Underground Gallery. This series of photographic work in color and monochromic prints skillfully presents the artists’ careful framing of the mundane, and sometimes monotonous, through the camera lenses to portray the everyday in a thought-provoking way.

-“House Fire”, a group exhibition in the Hank & Dolly’s Gallery featuring Abbie Jackson, Avery Logan, Emma Schwartz, Jessica Roth, and Wynter Rhoads. This collection of artists showcase their works of paintings, pastels, and multimedia of varying subject matter.

All shows will open at 6 pm Friday, July 1st.

In-person gallery tours will open for visitors Monday-Friday from 9 am – 5 pm. Online galleries will open on July 2nd. Make an appointment or view the online galleries at harrisoncenter.org/buy-art.

Special Senior Hours are every Friday from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. No appointment is needed.
