For over 50 years, Tower of Power has delivered the best in funk and soul music, with classic tunes like “You’re Still a Young Man,” “Down to the Nightclub,” “So Very Hard to Go” and “What Is Hip?” Known for its tight rhythms and horn arrangements, the Oakland-based band has backed many legendary artists over the years, including Elton John, Santana, the Grateful Dead, John Lee Hooker, Aerosmith and Bonnie Raitt. The current lineup includes co-founders and chief songwriters Emilio Castillo and Stephen “Doc” Kupka on saxophones, as well as other longtime members.

Opening the show will be Chicago-based Latin rock quintet Dos Santos.
