About October in 3D

Using a combination of structural engineering, geometry, and technology, Woodrow’s latest process involves digital design/modeling, 3D printing, and his experience in auto/body finishing. His goal was to create complex scalable pieces that are strong, yet light weight which he’s found in this versatile medium.
His most recent series is a focus on Nostalgia and re-creating 3 dimensional characters, products, and popular culture from the past. October in 3D is Woodrow’s first solo show in Indianapolis, Indiana at Gallery Forty-Two.

About the Artist
Indianapolis based artist Will Woodrow is a self-taught painter/sculptor, as well as an accomplished recording artist. He works in many mediums including cement, fiberglass, canvas, metal, etc. He has an extensive background as a commercial tradesman which is reflective in the current body of work. Current and future projects place an emphasis on the fabrication and castings from various precious metals.
Works by Will Woodrow can be found throughout the United States in such galleries as Virgil Catherine Gallery (Chicago), D. Colabella Fine Art Gallery (Connecticut), Warbuton Gallery (New York), Manor Gallery (New York), Hudson Yards Gallery (New York), and in many private collections and public installations.
